Swan Song Story-GlassHope. It was once there, but the idea of it was fading rapidly. In the beginning, it was everywhere, but after a short amount of time it went from false to hollow. Eventually, only the optimistic fools had it.  
 Normally, one would say that it was something that wouldn't be seen everyday, but it was. In the months since it had happened, it'd become cliché. Each and every one had been reduced to it; dust, ash and glass.  
 It was cold. The sun hadn't peeked through the clouds in months, ever since the bombs were dropped. The air was thick, and like the ground was a red-brown color. The breeze was soft, but offered onl Swan Song Story-Glass

Evolution-Redux“Grace, it's time to get up,” a female and somewhat computerized voice told her.  
 Grace opened her eyes, sat up and stretched her arms up as far as they could go. While yawning she pulled back the window curtain next to her bed. Sunlight filled her room, she squinted until her eyes had fully adjusted.  
 She climbed out of bed and stretched again. Grace moved slowly and clumsily to her dresser and grabbed the pile of clothing that she had picked out the night before. Song PromptLaura reached into her bag for her newly purchased hard cover journal. She placed it on her desk and opened it to the first page. She grabbed the nearest ballpoint pen and wrote the date on the top corner of the page. On the top line she wrote the words; “how to save a life” and began writing on the line below it.

Creative Writing Story-MysteryI-I-I killed them. I killed them last night. I don't remember much about what happened at all. I killed them with a pistol, what a mess it was.   I know what you're thinking: Why did I kill them? I'm not sure that I want to tell you.

Summer 09

The tittle says it all, it's summer time.
I've got a rather easy (compared to other years) summer assignment for English next year and I'm babysitting 3 days a week and working on maybe 1 or 2 days a week. Much has occurred since the last time I wrote, but I'm too lazy to explain it all in detail. For starters my computer's hard-drive is being weird so I'm unable to use it, but thankfully we got a cable so I can get all of my stuff off it and get a new one. One of my cats died almost a month ago from kidney failure (which was caused by urinary tract clog). And my cell-phone is now refusing to turn on.
Besides all that bad stuff there's been a lot of good stuff going on. I got lots of personal records in track this year (I'm a thrower/sprinter). Wii fit (enough said). I'm going into the Air Force (hopefully, I still haven't taken their test for it yet) as a linguist. I haven't actually signed anything yet, but I'm pretty dead set on the Air Force and am looking forward to it; also because I don't have to take the SAT's.Went to a Writer's Conference at a college for a weekend and came up with the best metaphor ever I'm still addicted to Gurren Lagann. Hopefully this year I'm going to Baku Con as Chell from Portal.
Annnd that's pretty much it. As I said I've been up to very much, but am too lazy to write about it. Maybe another time.
